Payment Terms

How payments, milestones and project responsibilities work when you build a website with Veltriex.

These terms are a general outline. The specific percentages, timelines and conditions for your project are confirmed in your written quotation, which takes precedence.

1. Project Advance Payment

Work begins after the advance payment stated in your quotation is received. The advance confirms your project slot and covers initial planning and design work.

2. Development Milestones

Larger projects are divided into milestones such as design approval, development completion and final testing. Milestone payments are due on completion of each stage as set out in the quotation.

3. Final Payment Before Handover

The remaining balance is payable before the website goes live or before login credentials, source files and ownership are handed over.

4. Domain and Hosting Charges

Domain registration and hosting are not included in package prices unless stated. These are paid to the provider, either directly by you or through us at actual cost plus any agreed service charge.

5. Third-Party Subscription Charges

Paid themes, premium plugins, Shopify or Wix plans, apps, email services and payment gateway fees are charged separately by their providers.

6. Additional Functionality Charges

Features, pages or changes requested beyond the agreed scope are quoted separately and may adjust the delivery timeline.

7. Maintenance Charges

Post-launch maintenance is optional and billed monthly, quarterly or per task according to the selected plan. Any free support period after launch is specified in your quotation.

8. Cancellation and Refund Policy

If a project is cancelled after work has started, payments for work already completed are non-refundable. Any refund of unused advance amounts is assessed based on the stage of work completed, as described in your quotation.

9. Project Delivery Timelines

Most standard business websites take approximately 1–3 weeks. Timelines begin once the advance and required content are received, and may extend if feedback or content is delayed.

10. Client Responsibilities

Clients are expected to provide timely feedback, approvals and access to required accounts (domain, hosting, payment gateway). Delays in these may affect the timeline.

11. Content and Image Requirements

Clients provide text, logos and images, and confirm they have the rights to use them. Copywriting and paid stock images can be arranged at additional cost.
